Fruit Clocks

Il mio regalo di Natale è finalmente arrivato! I miei nuovi orologi fruttosi, in tanti colori e tante forme, realizzati con Diamantini e Domeniconi. E' stato un progetto divertente, nato da una battuta con il proprietario (mio coetaneo), cresciuto anche lui con quegli orologi che riempivano le cucine degli anni '70. La sfida era quella di farne una reinterpretazione più fresca ed io ne sono contentissima.

My Christmas is finally here! My new fruity wall clocks, in many colors and shapes, made with Diamantini e Domeniconi. It has been a fun project, born from a joke with the owner (that is my age), also him grewed up with those wall clocks that filled the kitchens of the 70s. The challenge was to make a fresher reinterpretation and I am very happy about the result! 

Dispatching love all over the world

Sentirmi come Babbo Natale, con pacchetti da spedire nelle più disparate parti del mondo, alcune con la guerra, è bello. Perchè avere in mano le storie, le dediche, i messaggi segreti, le confidenze e le lontananze sofferte di alcune persone (che non mi piace chiamare clienti), mi fa sentire parte di un sistema di spedizione di amore attorno al mondo, che mi rende felice!

Feel like Santa Claus, with packages to be shipped in the most different parts of the world, some cities of war, it is beautiful. Because receiving stories, dedications, secret messages, confidences and suffered distances by some people (that I don't like to call clients), it makes me feel part of a system dispatching love all around the world, which makes me happy!

Il primo dentino

Il bello di avere bambini piccoli in casa è anche che, nella stessa notte, possano passare addirittura due topolini dei denti. Sì perchè oggi è capitato che sia caduto contemporaneamente un dente per uno, a due dei miei figli. E così so già che oggi vorranno indossare la loro magliettina col topino dei denti, il loro avviso pubblico del grande avvenimento che per loro è sempre una festa, perchè diventano grandi, perchè arriva un soldino e perchè sanno che il loro dente prezioso, contenente i ricordi della loro infanzia, verrá custodito in un mondo magico e sicuro.

The beauty of having small children at home is also that in the same night, we are waiting for two mice of the teeth. Yes, because today it happened that has fallen at the same time a tooth for one, of my two children. And so I know that today they will want to wear their T-shirt with the little mouse of the teeth, their public advise of the great event that is always a feast for them, because they become big, because there comes a penny, and because they know that their precious tooth, containing memories of their childhood, to be kept in a magical and secure world.

La prima pubblicazione

Sono proprio felice perchè, si fa un pò fatica, ma poi si raccolgono belle soddisfazioni. Tipo la mia prima pubblicazione sulla rivista mensile di Dicembre "Casa Facile"nell'inserto "Speciale Animali" dove vengono suggerite idee carine per un regalo natalizio ai nostri amici animali. Tra questi la maglietta di Lazy Little Lucky Girl con il ritratto del proprio cane, da indossare in casa, o in qualsiasi momento di relax da condividere con lui.

I'm really happy because, it is a little hard, but then you collect satisfaction. Here my first publication in the monthly magazine of December "Casa Facile" into the "Special for Pets" where are suggested nice ideas for a Christmas present to our animal friends. Among them the T-shirt Lazy Little Lucky Girl with the portrait of your dog, to wear at home, or at any relaxing time to share with him.

Anche quest'anno ce l'abbiamo fatta (anche se un pò al pelo) a mettere insieme carte avanzate e cartoncini di scarto, per costruire insieme ai bambini il nostro Calendario del'Avvento "fai da te".
